Shadows & Reflections

I always find It hard to catch A shadow of an object on the wall right as the lighting has to be just right but I am really pleased with how this photo has come out has it is very clear & bright you would think I have painted it on the wall but I promise you I haven't I have just become Lucky.

This shadow is not very clear but I feel it is alright it shows how I am not the best at catching a shadow.

I really like this shot of the daisy's as it has blurred really well. I have taken the shot from above & so I had a shot so it had more of the daisies instead of just the one macro shot of one daisy.

I have blurred this photo to show movement in Photoshop.

This Movement photo was done by mistake as it was meant to be a black & white photo of a flower but I feel that it is a very interesting photo & really shows a very detailed photo of movement.

This portrait photo was taken with just the flash of the Nikon D5ooo camera & no special kit of flash lights or in a dark room of the studio, Just the cameras flash.

Macro Photography

Macro Photography is taking close up photos of things such as nature flowers & animals & also it is a good way of showing still life like the photo bellow of the shells. Using this I can use the macro on the camera or the macro lens. The photo bellow was taken with my Lumix & the macro mode on the camera.

For this photo of the straws I have used the Macro lens with my Nikon D5000 camera.

I have also used the Macro lens for taking this photo of this flower as it is the best way of getting the best of detail from a white flower.

Taking this photo on an angle makes a really good photo as it looks like it is looking across at something.

Monochrome flowers are really creative & I like them as they are just like one colour which like flows throughout the photo.

I like things such as seedpod like objects as they are dead looking but show a real sense of style in the detail using the Macro Lens which helped to show this. I like the background as ir puts the seedpods into context in a way that draws them to your eyes.

This was taken with the Macro Mode on My Nikon D5000 Camera & on the Light Box as well, I feel that the light Box lights up the object which helps to show the detail in the photo.

I like this seedpod as it is a really close up shot but we have just the right bit of background used to make it stand out, I have taken this photo on the light box, but I have used the Macro mode on the Nikon D5000 Camera.

When I looked on the web I found a really interesting photographer John Beatty I never used any kind of photos like his but really liked his work so Click here to see why.

A texture photographer is Bruce Montagne I really liked his photography & became really inspired by him so click here to see some of his workThis photo of the window shows a good use of texture as we have the use of a pattern & the stained glass looks like a gradient effect. I liked the blue-green colour as it is pale & a cool colour that makes you tremble as you look at it. I also like how at the bottom of the photo the colour shade is darker than at the top of the photo. You also feel that with glass you schould be able to see through it but the not being able to see through it shows a good effect that made me choose it.

I like this carpet as i shows a kind of pattern that is really nice. I like how it makes you want to touch it. I feel the colour is really nice as it is a pale carm shade of beige. I liked the use of having it filling the whole photo as it keeps to being a pattern.

I love this floor it really shows a good pattern I think the colour shows a sence of power even though it isn't bright like pink, It is just great as the whole photo is like the same colour but the thing is it is all different shades of that colour.

I really like this photo of wood as the lines & the pieces of wood are all going different directions which makes this photo look really crazy & unique. You feel when you look at this photo that you are there not touching it just standing looking at its beauty, which leads to why I had it fill the whole photo a bit like a close up as it makes them look the size they would be to you standing on them so you feel you are there.

I just love this photo of the flowers as they look so dark like you are in space I feel it also shows a good use of a pattern that just makes you look a bit dazed that you want to touch & see if it is real.

I really like this pattern of material it is a really good texture & each bit of material is different & they all look so nicely set out as I saw that the dark ones like the blacks are at the bottom & the other colours on the top this is not how I set them out but how they were in the shop but I thought it shows such a nice shot so I took the Photo.

I love these bricks the colour of them is so unusual that they just look so great I had to take the photo to remind me of what I had seen as this type of texture you don't see everyday.

I really like the texture of shed doors when all the paint is that old that it starts to fall of & all the wood wears away they just look so beautiful a they are something that needs to be thrown away but to me their art something different & amazing.

Bricks always make a good textured photo but the only trouble it thet they are so coman especially in this kind of colour of the house brick.

The texture of this radiator looks so rough as the painting is not perfect & the heat doesn't help either as it just makes it look rougher. But it does show a really good texture that isn't always found. When you look at it you feel like you are rubbing your hands over it.

Carpets make a great textured pattern that is rough to feel as you touch it your hand starts to feel rough & sore which you feel from the power of it. This photo is good in the way as it looks the same size as it would in the real life shown in the photo.

This is a nice textured pattern as it is taken on a angle & it looks smaller & Smaller as it enters the bottom corner of the photo. The colour has come out really well as it is white & the gray dark bits are shown on the one side of the photo.

This texture of the floor has like a glitter effect to it like it is sparkling at the person taken the photo (me) which makes it look to anyone else that is looking at the photo thinking they are taking the photo. I think the colour is really nice being a gray like colour with dark gray dots, which give of the sparkle.

This is a really nice texture as the ground was wet so it showed the texture in the mud & the few stones scatted around helps to show a real life situation to the photo.

Texture of a wet yard looks great as it reminds you of wet paint, You are put into actin with the photo as you can see the dirt on the floor.

Blue is such a bright colour it shows power even though it is supposed to be a cool colour this looks so strong & mighty as it stands out like you would be able to see it from miles away.

This colour is not very exciting as it is brown-gray colour that makes you want to cry I took this photo as it is a texture as it shows the rough felling in the carpet.

I love this textured wallpaper as it is a really calm colour that helps to relax you when you look at it. You can tell that this wallpaper is smooth as when you look at the photo everything looks on one level meaning it is all smooth & you are able to rub your hand across it.

This is a great texture as it looks so rough as it is not on one level but it looks smooth as well, the colour is really nice as it is a nice dark bold colour. The photo looks really good with the whole photo being full & you can't see anything other than this.

This is a nice textured photo of the food on the plate & also the table that you can see on the one side this photo was taken with the macro shot on my Nikon D5000 camera I took it like that as it helps to make it look more closer to you in the photo & fill a lot of the photo as well. I included just the little bit of background which was the table which helped to show the bit of life & helped to make the photo look more interesting to the eye. I felt once I saw this photo wow I love it & food really does have this unique kind of feel about it which makes for creative shots.

This is a great texture of the bean things as the colour is nice & pale making you feel calm I also took the photo with a macro shot on the camera so I could show a nice close up photo of the beans I also thought it was better to not include a background as it help so a real life situation in an interesting way.

Lettuce is a really good texture I really like the colour & shape this photo has come out really well as it is bright & stands out to my eyes. I took this with a macro shot which helps to show the real power of the texture of the lettuce that a normal shot or a further away shot wouldn't show.

Cornflakes are such a lovely colour of orange-yellow shades like stand out & when you look at this photo I get a rough like felling in my hands like I am rubbing my hand across the cornflakes. This was taken with a macro shot.

This texture I must say is not my favourite as the colour is so boring & not very eye catching which makes you feel sad to look at.

This is a really nice texture as it is like fire which makes your eyes burn & heat up I made sure it fitted the whole photo as it helped to show the real power of it.

This photo also shows how smooth the wood is as it is all on one level. Which is why I took the photo as it is very different to other woods.

I like this texture taken so it filled the photo & showed no background as it helps to show the real life situation the colour of the photo is great as it is calm & relaxing.

Roses make a great texture as they are such a textures flower I chose in this case to take a photo of a bunch of them as it creates like a pattern. The red shows a passion of love, they are also so bright & give a happy felling which is the reason I chose it.

This is a lovely patterned texture as you can see all the stitch lines which make it show the texture. I also love the colour of orange as it stands out to the eye.

The mud is a great texture you can also see all the rims.

The texture of this photo is rough as you can see all the twigs all over the place & they look like when you rub you hand over them you will feel the pricks on your hand.

I love this shot as you are focused more on the one big flower (lily) but you are also looking at the ones surrounding the photo. A flower photographer is Click Here I really like his work he has some really creative photos on all sorts of topics but he really inspired me for my flower photography.

I like this shot of the shell taken as a macro shot. The dark background makes the light coloured shell stand out. I really like Macro shots as the whole photo becomes full & the big size makes the photo really creative. I like how the photo has come out showing the dark part for the inside of the shell, the part furthest away from us.

I love this macro shot of the shell as the colour has come out like a burnt old style, it is like this as it is an autumn leaf. I took the photo of the back of the leaf as the detail is so pure & powerful. The leaf kind of gives out an artistic effect like someone as put fine linner dots on top of a tea bag spread on the page.

This is a great macro shot of a rose I always think that pink is so beautiful as it makes you feel happy to look at it. The colours are just so pure & they all look so different as not any part of the rose is the same to any other part.

I like this shot of a dandelion as it is a macro shot & it looks really nice & stands out to your eye with it being against the black background, I chose the black as I thought that it would contrast really well with the dandelion as they are two different colours.

I love this macro shot of the dandelion as it looks so cute & fluffy. You just want to blow & watch it float into the sky.

This is a nice shot but I couldn't centure it very well because of the tractor in the background.
But I do like the way you can just look down a path of trees like this it has a feeling of tranquility.

This is a nice shot of the roses but it isn't the best as they look a bit boring & not all that much interesting but I included it to show a different setting for the roses.

This shot is of my mum & dad I took it at Powis castle I tried to centure the image & let in some of the background into the photo so I could tell a story. The house looks really nice as it is like a Tudor style property which looks lost in the background, but does fit in as it is just above my parents head but continues more past my mum. The lighting is really good as it was taken on a sunny day which you can tell by the shadows cast by my parents, The sun as well as the flash of the camera helps to show detail to my parents as it makes them stand out from the background.

I like this photo as you can see Powis Castle but you also have the waterfall included in the one corner of the photo. This photo shows a good focused shot as in the foreground we have the waterfall in the mid ground we have the greenery nature & background we have the Castle, all going on a bit of a slant from the left hand bottom corner to the top right hand corner.

I like this photo of the castle as well as it is seen in the background with the sky again, with the nature in the mid ground but we do have the big trees in the two bottom corners & they both look different as well which helps to show a nice style in the photo, I also like the hedge just behind them as well as you just see a bit of grass as well.

This is a nice photo of the waterfall centures well as in the background we have the two hedges that join together behind the waterfall. I also like the sky as it look so creative & goes really well with the waterfall as it looks so full of rain.

This sot is really well worked as the house looks really nice as it is a lovely colour bricked house. I also like the flowers that lead down the middle of the photo to the house as they help to show beauty in the photo bu also help to centure it as we have the grass the one side & teh house & the trees the other.

This photo is really pretty as the daisies look so nice as they fill the whole photo.

This is a nice shot of the flowers with the wall & hedge each side of it. With the sky being a great colour of the white.

These flowers look really great as the white sky makes a great background for them making them stand out.

I have used the Nikon Flash Gun.
This Is all about playing around with the different flashes & using different colours coming in through the different corners such as on this I have used Green & Red & on the red side I have a shadow just reflecting in which makes the flower stand out I think that the colours work really well as they are suited you have the green as a colour of nature & red is like a warm colour & a Flower, They have both also come out in like a transparent shade.

This Photo was taken using the Flash Gun, On this photo I haven't used the colours so you can see the colour that the pallet of Paint was supposed to be I feel that the quality of the photo is lacking but I haven't really used the Flash Guns much so that will show.

This Photo was taken with a red sheet & on the other flash Gun I didn't have a colour sheet on I think that the red makes the Pallet look really powerful & strong making a great photo. I really liked the paint on the pallet as you had an art feel showing a creative side to the photo, & as they were so mucky the flash gun made it look really good.

This photo is really nice taken with the Nikon D6o & 2 flash guns we also have a red & a green colour placed on the Flash Guns making as you see a red on the left side & a green on the right, The red looks a lot more powerful & seams to take over the green flash showing that I hadn't gone the flash in the right sort of position to make it even out.

This Photo has the red & Blue on the Flash Gun I feel that these two colours are great & they blend together really well & I was really pleased with the result I love how the colour has fallen as in the middle they meet & blend together, With right in the middle of the photo a very transparent light shade & some parts have come out in dark shades like near by the Paintbrush, I just feel that this photo has come out really well & I am pleased with it.

I like this photo I have taken the Photo so it shows the paint pallet on a bit of an angle as on the side on the left the blue side the pallet looks to be more above th side on the right with the red colour. On the blue side we have that the flash gun has created like a shadow & in the top corner I have a bit of a purple colour as red & blue together have created purple.

This Photo shows the shadow on the red side & we have the purple at the top made by the red & Blue there can also be seen a bit of a shadow on the blue side on the left right next to the pallet.

This Photo was a bit bright so I have improved it which you can see from the photos above so I have moved the Flash Guns around so they don't look so bright.

The Rain makes this photo look a bit like a cartoon photo like it has been painted which adds a really nice effect to the photo as it doesn't look like a normal photo.

You can see I took this photo on the larger lens as the tiles are bigger & fill the photo. You can also see how dirty they are showing how well the D60 has picked up on the colour of the tiles.

I like this photo taken with a Fisheye lens it has become very dark around the window which makes the window stand out like a light is shinning in the picture & as it was a day of sunshine & showers you can just see the rainbow glowing its colours in the view, just disappearing through the clouds.

This photo is of the stairs I have taken a few photos of the stairs before but this time I have used the fisheye lens which makes the photo look really good as it distorts a bit, curving the picture out round the edges & making the stairs look really good.

This photo is another version of looking through the window but I don't feel that it looks as good as the colour hasn't come out as good but it still looks really good as this time I have made it so there are more windows in the photo I like how it curves on the window bars distorting the photo, you can also just see the rainbow in the photo as well in the one window. I also think the photo looks really nice with the clouds just disappearing to show blue sky.

This one of the corridor you can see that the photo has blurred a bit making it not as good as the others but it still looks alright as It shows a bit of a different effect.

This Photo of the corridor has also blurred a bit as the light wasn't the best as the corridor was full of light & where I was there was hardily any light.

I like this photo with the wall just in the corner of the photo but is has blurred a bit, the school building looks really good so I feel that the blur on the wall actually makes this photo stand out & look different to my other photos.

These distance Photos are all about taking close up pictures & far away pictures of the same object. This Photo is not the intreasting of photos but it shows a good example.

Here is a close up shot of the hedge this picture is just to show the hedge & nothing else I found a spot in the hedge where I had some green Leaves & some brown twigs, which makes the picture look different but it is the same picture.

This photo is a bit more further away & I have tried not to include the sky in this photo as it makes the object its self stand out I feel that having the photo taken on a bit of an angle means that the photo has some life & doesn't look to overpowering as you can only see a bit of brick work, & at the bottom o e photo you can see a bit of yard & a bit of grass.

This Photo is a bit further away from the hedge it is a bit on an angle as I wanted to make it a bit different to the rest of the photos, I find it great as the sky changes colour in just a few seconds making the photo look like it was taken at a different time of day.

Here we are looking down the pathway, I have taken the picture by showing the wall & netball court on each side I am happy with the sky being the colour it is as this makes the photo look dark & gloomy with some we patches on the ground.
